PROTECTED ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES

Mediterranean monk seals, sea turtles, and loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) are protected in these regions. Additionally, plant species such as the Burçak Flower, Iris Flower, Sand Lily, Broomrape, Daffodil, and Crocus are also among the protected species.

It is not advisable to purchase products derived from protected plant and animal species. Hunting as a sport is prohibited outside the dates permitted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. We strongly urge you not to participate in activities such as circuses, zoos, and dolphin shows, which remove animals from their natural habitats.

Manavgat Waterfall

MANAVGAT WATERFALL

Located 3 km west of Manavgat district, the waterfall bears the same name as the district. Despite not having a significant drop, its powerful flow over a wide area creates a breathtaking view. Transportation is available via minibuses departing from Manavgat. The distance from our hotel to Manavgat Waterfall is 12 km.

Titreyen Lake

TİTREYEN LAKE

According to legend, when an old fisherman living by the lake fed the birds, they would gather around him. One day, hunters shot ducks on the lake, and the old fisherman confronted them, trying to stop them from hunting. The hunters pushed the old man and tried to retrieve the ducks they had shot. At that moment, the other ducks took off together, creating a whirlwind with their wings and scaring the hunters away. Since then, the lake has been trembling. Titreyen Lake is 10 km from our hotel.

Side

SIDE

Located 75 km from Antalya and 7 km from Manavgat, Side is a peninsula approximately 400 meters wide and 1 km long. The name "Side" means pomegranate in the Anatolian language. According to some inscriptions, this indicates that Side's history dates back to the Hittites. According to some sources, Side, one of the oldest settlements in Anatolia, was founded before the 7th century BC and over time came under the rule of many civilizations.

Aspendos

ASPENDOS

Located 44 km from Manavgat, the Aspendos Theater, built in the 2nd century, has a capacity of 17,000 and is one of the best-preserved amphitheaters still standing today. It is one of the few theaters that has survived to this day with its stage intact. Today, it is used for concerts, festivals, and oil wrestling events. In Aspendos, other structures such as the Agora, Basilica, Nymphaeum, and 15 km-long arched aqueducts are also worth seeing.

Seleukeia

SELEUKEIA

Heading northwest from Manavgat towards the Taurus Mountains, after 12 km, you reach the ruins of Seleukeia. It was founded by the Seleucids. Established around 300 BC as an acropolis city for protection, the city sits on a hill with steep slopes and deep valleys, offering a panoramic view of the entire plain and the sea.

Köprülü Canyon

KÖPRÜLÜ CANYON

It is Turkey's most popular rafting area and its longest canyon. Rafting is an exciting and fun river sport done with rafts on high-flow rivers. The Köprüçay River is one of Turkey's most beautiful natural recreation areas. Archaeological sites such as Roman-era bridges and historic roads make Köprülü Canyon National Park a must-see. The distance from our hotel to Köprülü Canyon is 59 km.

Kurşunlu Waterfall

KURŞUNLU WATERFALL

At Kurşunlu Waterfall, water cascades from a height of 18 meters, connecting seven small ponds with tiny waterfalls. The waterfall is located within a 2-kilometer-long canyon. This area was turned into a park and opened to visitors in 1986. The waterfall and picnic area cover 33 hectares. The picnic area includes scenic viewing terraces, a children's playground, a restaurant, parking, and walking paths.

Saklıkent Canyon

SAKLIKENT CANYON

Located between Antalya and Fethiye, Saklıkent Canyon has a total length of 18 kilometers. If you want to plan a trip immersed in nature, Saklıkent Canyon is a great place to enjoy your time. Within the canyon, you can also see forested areas with red pine, cedar, and black pine trees.

Do not touch or damage the artifacts exhibited in museums. Do not take photos or videos in prohibited areas, and follow the written or verbal rules.
Do not damage ancient city sites, do not enter protected areas, and do not litter.
Do not picnic, light fires, or litter in natural parks and forests, and always pay attention to warning signs.
Do not engage in inappropriate intimacy in these areas, and do not disturb others. Hunting must be carried out according to the law and regulations. Respect wildlife and natural habitats.
Buying or selling historical artifacts without the necessary permits and documents is strictly prohibited. Illegal trade is not allowed. Do not enter mosques with shoes, women must wear headscarves, and food or drinks are not allowed inside.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Municipal buses and minibuses operate in Manavgat/Ilıca. You can travel by public transportation. There is a bus stop close to our hotel.
